may's end

it's been too long... about two and a half weeks. well between school ending, my vacation, my laptop getting fixed, catching up with people, and a design job... spare time has been a luxury i could't afford. but it's memorial day today... the last hoorah for a while. now i have some time to breathe, get organized and start on my summer goals.

this past semester has been one heck of wild ride. i'm glad it's over... but in a way, i kinda miss it. weird? yea, i agree. i guess i miss the people. hopefully we'll all keep in touch over summer. but it's gonna be weird coming back next semester and the graphic designers before my class are gone... i'm really gonna miss them.

well anyway, here are a bunch of random pictures taken over the past few months captured by my lovely Lg enV touch... haha.

summer

today was my first official summer day. in a way, it feels kind of surreal. i really don't want this to be a lazy summer... i want to be able to look back on it and be satisfied knowing that i got a lot done. plans i have include: getting organized, thoroughly cleaning and such; working on my portfolio and my site; learning more of after effects and flash; freelancing (got a few jobs-- pretty exciting); and trying to blog it all everyday.

but first, i'm gonna be on vaca in myrtle beach for 5 days/4 nights with a few close friends. we're leaving this sunday. i'm so excited. and after a much needed relaxation of a trip, i will get started on the goals i just listed.

myrtle beach here i come :)

senior show: dialogue

tonight was the graphic design senior show. they all did amazing. and it's very exciting to think that it will be me next year. unfortunately i forgot my camera, but check out the pictures from shameful d's blog. he took awesome [camera] shots of the night ;)

just letting you all know...

... i really am still alive. ha.

hey i got a joke- what does a cat, gatorade, the chronicles of narnia, a resume, and hair all have in common?

answer: they're all involved with the projects i'm finishing.

stay tuned.
here's one of the projects (the one with hair ;)
